Machine Learning: 4th Industrial Revolution?

We all know about AI (Artificial Intelligence) emphasize the creation of machine that can react like humans. But, Machine Learning is one step ahead of AI, which is just like a real intelligent human.
The human race is evolved by their discoveries made during a particular period of time. When these discoveries are kept in sequence, the discovery which brings the biggest change in the world are said to be revolution. In the history of evolution, the technology which are closely interacts with humans are supposed to bring these revolutions in the past. From the start of the human evolution, three major revolutions take place, which includes,
1. Agricultural Revolution
2. Industrial Revolution and
3. Informational Revolution.

Which one will be the 4th major revolution?

In olden days cost of both hardware and software for processing the data are very high. Nowadays, large amount of data can be processed and by which we can predict the future by one of the fastest growing technology, Machine Learning. Scientists predict that Machine Learning may be the biggest reason to bring the 4th major revolution in the world. For example, a new born baby thinks and grows up by seeing and viewing things happening around the society. Likewise, a computer utilizes its input data and sensors to think for doing a particular work, which is called the Machine Learning. In simple words, making a machine thinks like a human is called machine learning.

What is the difference between Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning?

Let me give an example, we all have played chess in our mobile phones or with the computer. The developer developed the game in such a way by giving certain algorithms and formulas’ regarding the game such as, what is board, chess, number of coins, rules, moves, when an opponent is playing which will be the best possible move, etc. These stored database are responsible for the game played by our computer. This is what called as Artificial Intelligence. Here, in Machine Learning, the computer doesn’t know to play chess. In fact, it doesn’t know even the meaning of chess. While playing with this computer for the first time, everything will be wrong. As we continue to play, it understands how to play the game and starts learning about each and every game. At last, it will become the master.
Machine Learning is one of the fastest growing technologies in the world. Large number of companies are now investing huge amount of money in machine learning. For example, LinkedIn list the persons you may know in your real life in its options, automatic tagging of your friends to a particular photos in Facebook, Google’s self-driving cars are also based on machine learning technology. Even in medical field, it is used in diagnosis of various diseases.
The changes caused by this 4th major revolution will have great impact on social, economic, cultural or even on an environment. This machine learning technology is not going to stop here. As the usage of internet goes on increasing day by day, the generation of our data also increases which eventually makes the computer more intelligent.
